Today I fell a thousand miles came crashing into reality I couldn't scream, flinch nor smile questioning for all the while how will I face this now? Reality was a harsh reminder how good dreams were of late I clung on with all my strength fighting my simple fate I quelled the evil taskmaster once, twice, thrice for me, I was in total bliss feeling all content inside I'll never feel better than this but slowly dread starts to fill my mind will I be too late? my sensible mind starts to roar You can't stall anymore! so I finally get out of bed. One more loss in the battle when will I win the war? I can't stay in bed forever
